Sharon Sydelle Marable

Sharon Sydelle Marable was born in Albany, New York to the parents of Isaac Qnell and Etta Mae (Taylor) Marable on April 23, 1952. She was the First born of two children. After her mother’s death she was brought to Flint, MI where she grew up under the loving care of her father, and his wife Ruth E. (Marable) Lott. Sharon graduated from Central High School in Flint, MI. She later returned to Albany, NY to study and become a licensed Cosmetologist. She worked in beauty shops in New York, Michigan, and Los Angeles before opening, “Our Place Beauty Salon.” She closed shortly after her first amputation. Sharon was proud of her work as a Licensed Practical Nurse, and also as a Licensed Funeral Director. She enjoyed working for various Funeral Homes in the city. Sharon was a member Paradise Missionary Baptist Church, she loved her church family and he Pastor Rev. Darryl Barnes. Sharon was apart of the Sunday School and Choir Ministries, Her hobbies were Crocheting, knitting, and traveling. Sharon is Preceded in death by her parents and brother Ronald. She leaves to cherish her memory: one daughter, Marcilla L. Marable; grandsons, Tzion and Tamir McElroy all of Oakland, CA; nephew, Monte I. Marable; sister-in-law, Kimberly Marable of L. A.; stepmother, Ruth E. Lott of Flint, MI.; Cousin/Caregiver, Linda Turner; many friends, Ginger Loyd, Anthony “Ted” Felder, and a host of other friends. Obituary
