On Thursday, December 12, 2019, Michie George Larned, loving husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather, uncle and brother, passed away peacefully in his home at the age of 88.
Michie was born on June 2, 1931 in Childress, Texas to his parents Marguerite and George Larned. At the age of five, Michie's family moved to Ontario, California. He graduated from Chaffey High School in 1949. Michie worked various jobs after high school but his expertise and career became machine tool technology, which he taught and retired from at San Bernardino Valley College.
He was an Upland resident for the last 56 years.
