JEFFERY DAVID LUGG
Jeffery David Lugg, known to family and friends as Jeff, was born on June 8, 1989, in Riverside, California. He passed away in the early morning of October 17, 2026, in Yucaipa, California.
His Life
Jeff was raised in Riverside, California, until middle school when he moved to Fontana. He loved fast cars, dirt biking, and other thrill-seeking hobbies. Whether it was his caffeine consumption, working on his cars, or riding his motorcycle, Jeff loved to go fast. He loved to build cars and drift them. He was also a lover of heavy music, jerky, Reese’s candy, and Mexican food. Jeff spent much of his free time working on his home Aquarium and relaxing while playing video games.
Jeff graduated in 2007 from Etiwanda High School and joined the Army National Guard in 2008, where he served as a Humvee mechanic.
His Family
Jeff met his wife, Breanna, at a pool party in the early summer of 2006. They began as friends and remained so until early 2007, when they fell in love. They married in 2015 and went on to have two beautiful children, Aurora, born in 2016, and Seth, born in 2020. In 2024, the family moved to Yucaipa.
Jeff was a dedicated father to his children. He could often be found snuggling with Aurora or sharing a love of music and art, watching movies or teaching his son, Seth, to play Pokémon. They also enjoyed building Lego models together and playing video games.
His Career
Jeff was a well-respected employee from his time in the service, to working for years with A-tech automotive where he stayed in good contact with his prior employer Patrick, before moving to RVs at Mike Thompson’s RV, where he worked as a technician. He was proud to leave a legacy of high performance and a job well done. Among his favorite moments at work, however, were the lunches he shared with his brother, Thomas (Tommy) Lugg.
Those He Leaves Behind
Jeff is survived by his wife, Breanna Lugg; his children, Aurora Lugg and Seth Lugg; his mother, Deborah (Debbie) Lugg; his brother, Thomas (Tommy) Lugg, and Tommy’s girlfriend, Ariel Asbra, and his sister, Brittany Lugg, along with many other cherished extended family members and friends who loved him.
Jeff was preceded in death by his father, David Lugg; beloved husky, Raven; and grandparents, Ron & Colleen Lugg, and Julius & Lydia Konikow.
Memorial Service
Services honoring Jeff’s life will be held on Friday, November 13, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. at Yucaipa Regional Park in Yucaipa, California. A reception will follow the service.
