Dennis (Denny) Aleksandar Blagojevich was born an only child to Milivoja (Mile) and Danica (Dana) Blagojevich in Valejo, Serbia.
Denny married Mary "Mele Faiva" Blagojevich, and together they raised three children and their families: Aleksandar and his wife Krystle Corral, with their daughters Mele Faiva and 'Ilaisaane Kosem: Danica Siulangi and her husband, Shawn Medrano, with their children Emma George and Elliot Dartanyun; and Shana "Ilaisaane and her husband, Martin Coleman, with their sons Eric "Sekope" Michael, and Aleksandar.
Though he was an only child, through marriage he lived as a brother to many. He loved his extended family as his own, and they loved him the same.
Denny was a skilled machinist and spent most of his life building and selling aircraft parts. He had a natural understanding of numbers, tools and how things worked. He approached his work with care and precision, taking pride in the craft he built over the years.
Outside of his shop, Denny had a mix of hobbies that reflected who he was. He loved the solitude of fishing, enjoyed the challenge of playing chess, and had the imagination required to spend hours on World of Warcraft. He also spent most mornings metal detecting at the beach, and most Sunday afternoons taking his grandkids to the corner store.
Denny faced his illness with stubborn determination, hope, and the same humor that helped carry all of us through the hardest the hardest moments. He stayed true to himself through it all and surrounded himself with family, love and laughter.
He will be remembered for his honesty, his humor, and the small gestured that showed his love in his own way.
