Andy was born and raised in Texas until his love of the beaches brought him to Los Angeles where he made it his home. Survived by his mother: Eudelia Rodriguez; Sisters Janie DeLaVega, Veda Guijosa, Cynthia Silva; Brothers Alex Torres, Sammy Torres, and Joe Torres, all of Texas. Numerous nephews,nieces and friends whom he called his family.
